I have been making this recipe for a few years. It's a copycat recipe for Olive Garden from Gimme Some Oven Ingredients 2 pound ground Italian sausage Salt Pepper Garlic powder Onion powder Italian seasoning 6 garlic cloves, minced 2 medium onions, diced 3 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, diced 10 to 12 cups chicken stock 4 to 6 cups chopped fresh kale, coarsely chopped 2 cups heavy whipping cream 12 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled Directions 1. Preheat oven to 425° and lay bacon in a single layer on a foiled baking sheet. Bake bacon for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning. Let cool. Crumble or coarsely chop. Set aside 2. Heat a pot or Dutch oven. Once heated drizzle a little olive oil and add Italian sausage. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
