Salsa Recipe 4 tomatoes, halved 1 onion, halved 8 cloves garlic 4 jalapeno peppers, stems removed Olive oil 1-1/2 lime, juice 1-1/2 bunch cilantro leaves 1-2 teaspoons salt, to to taste INSTRUCTIONS 1.Preheat the broiler to high. 2.Rinse and cut tomatoes, and jalapenos. Peel onion and halve. Peel garlic. 3.Place the tomatillos, poblano peppers, jalapeno peppers and garlic cloves on the cooking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil on garlic to prevent burning. 4.Broil for 10-15 minutes. 5. Let rest about 10-15 minutes. 6. Place the tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, garlic, onion in a blender or food processor. Pulse until the mixture is mostly smooth. 7.Add in 1-2 tsp of salt, juice from 1/2 to 1 lime, 1/2-1 bunch of cilantro, to taste. Blend again. 8. Serve warm or chilled with your favorite tortilla chips.
